At its site the Hungarian city of Kecskemént, the Hilti company produces chisels, drills and diamond drilling core bits. When it decided to extend its production facilities, it turned to Hoval to provide everything from a single source: this included ventilation and heating systems as well as solar collectors for water heating. Now, the complete system that Hoval has created saves energy, time and money.

Seven Hoval RoofVent LKW-9 ventilation units were installed to provide heating and cooling for the new buildings.

A ventilation solution that provides a healthy working environment

The expansion of the Kecskemét factory includes a 600 m² product testing building and a 3,000 m² production hall for logistics and administration. .

Seven Hoval RoofVent LKW-9 air conditioning units were installed for heating, cooling and ventilation of the new buildings.

The four RoofVent devices which equip the building built in the 1990s have been modified into LKW type devices and are equipped with the latest generation regulation. They thus continue to be in service.

These ventilation units remove different layers of hot air, minimizing heat loss through the roof and can be individually controlled and operated, further reducing energy consumption. The decentralized Hoval RoofVent roof air conditioning system does not require any bulky air lines. Additionally, air conditioning units can be maintained from the roof without interrupting production.

Thanks to its energy efficiency which exceeds usual values, the employees of the Hilti factory – from what we can hear in Kecskemét – are delighted: “Now we have a healthy working environment”.
